Scan Inventory

Scan product barcodes and serial numbers with a Socket scanner. Edit descriptions, quantities, prices and discounts.

Enter or swipe credit cards with an iDynamo or external Ingenico payment terminal, and process with the credit card partner of your choice. Once a payment is processed, customers can sign on-screen with a finger or stylus.

Receipts can be printed wirelessly or emailed instantly.

LightSpeed for iPad is a free download from iTunes and requires an available user license on your LightSpeed Server.

LightSpeed for iPad is compatible with the Socket barcode scanner, iDynamo credit card swipe and the Ingenico i6580 terminal for wirelessly processing credit and debit transactions.

LightSpeed Mobile is a new iPhone/iPod touch app that will enable sales representatives to meet customers, create invoices, scan products and process payments anywhere in the store.

We have recently tested a range of POS hardware to see if it works on the Mac.

The conclusion is that, so far, we can't find a pole display in New Zealand that is Mac-compatible however everything else listed below works perfectly:

• DigiPos cashdrawer ("kicked" by Epson printer)
• Datalogic QD2130 barcode scanner
• Metrologic MS9590 VoyagerGS barcode scanner
